Ick >_o I think I just ate a piece of coloured pencil lead x-x;;
I adore it~ I don't shade it with straight gray << *pokes Laurentiens* Turquoise, Lavender and Blue-Gray =3 in that order X3 Turquoise and Lavender give a very dynamic gray-like colour, and I just don't like the other two gray coloured pencils in my box so Blue-Gray gets to be the darker shade for it.

Hehe, very clever. My art teacher told me somthing simalur to that (except it was in shading you should use the darker tips. By shading them with the oppisite of what you want. Like Green>>Red. )
But I shall keep that in mind >> I've been meaning to dig up my coloured pencils and colour X3;;

Mmhmm. I've heard that before, and even seen some real life examples of it, but it plays better for light-source tone versus shadow tone rather than the colour of the section itself and its complimentary colour. Personally I don't like the effect it gives, so I tend not to colour like that.
=3 I adore coloured pencils. ...I should play a little more with digital media sometime though, cause that's always fun too, but I like my sketchbookies too much to play with the mouse. Meh. Dad's got a flash program, so... one of these days <<

Heh I remember when I didn't have digi stuff. I always luffed colour pencils, and would obsesse over them. Tho I have neglected that now..hum.. *shrugs*
however, I would like to see some of your digital peices, so...when that day does come ima be ready >=3
